About Us
About Us
Diablo Rod & Gun Club is an organization made up of hunters, sportsmen, fishermen, outdoors enthusiasts and participants in shooting sports of all types. You could meet people who compete in National competitions, people who enjoy shooting a couple rounds of Skeet or Trap with good friends, Hunters keeping their skills sharp for the season or a family learning about the safety and responsibility involved in gun ownership. We currently have over 1200 members and offer affordable memberships for individuals, and families.
Diablo Rod & Gun is one of four clubs, which make up
United Sportsmen Inc. The
United Sportsmen facility, which is shared by all four clubs is located at
4700 Evora Road in Concord, Ca.

Rifle Pistol Range
Mon. & Wed. - Fri. 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sat. & Sun. 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Closed Tues.
Shotgun Ranges
Wed. & Thurs. 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sat. & Sun. 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Closed Mon, Tues. & Fri.
Multi-purpose Range
(Members Only)
On scheduled weekends
Facilities
The club facilities include:

A rifle range with 50 and 100
yard targets and covered shooting positions.

A pistol range with 15 and 25
yard targets and covered shooting positions.

A Multi-Purpose range set for 25,
50, 100 and 200 yard targets.

A five bay Action Pistol Range
-
Fields for Trap, Skeet and Five
Stand Sporting Clays all with lighting for evening shoots.

Classroom facilities for Safety
and Education lectures, classes etc.

A large clubhouse for club
gatherings (business and social) with a kitchen.
The Rifle & Pistol Range and the Skeet, Trap and Clays fields are open to the public. You may be expected to display your knowledge of safe gun handling to a Range Safety Officer before being allowed onto any range. Eye and ear protection is required for all persons on all ranges.

Activities
The club arranges many events for members, some of which are also open to the public. We have
skeet, trap and sporting clays leagues, competitive rifle and pistol events,
metallic silhouette events, air gun league, monthly
action pistol matches and monthly members social events.
