Paul writes " There are two proposed changes to the By Laws and Constitution of Diablo Rod and Gun Club that will be voted on at the next club meeting. The proposed changes are as follows:
1. To delete the requirement for new members to attend a meeting in order to receive their membership card by amending the Diablo Constitution Article 2 – Section 2(a) to read:
“All applications for membership must be made in writing upon an application blank provided for this purpose, and must be accompanied by the appropriate dues and initiation fees. Applicants must be sponsored by a club member in good standing. Applicants are encouraged to attend a meeting to be considered for membership.”
2. To eliminate the “half year” membership by amending the Diablo Constitution Article 2 - Section 2(e) to read:
“Membership periods available are lifetime, three year, and annual (July 1 to June 30 fiscal year). The lifetime membership is available only to a person who has been a member in good standing of Diablo Rod and Gun Club for a minimum of three years.”
